These terms apply to the use of the Countermove application, which is run by Countermove ApS, CVR 46789369. If your organisation has an agreement with us, the agreement takes precedence over these terms where the two conflict.
Access
The application is open by invitation only. You sign in with the Google or Microsoft account we have given access. Your access is personal: do not share it, and tell us if you think someone else has gained access to your account. We may close an account when the engagement ends, or if these terms are not followed.
Confidentiality
The content of an exercise is confidential: the organisation profile, the scenario, the decisions, uploaded plans and the report. We use it only to run the exercise and produce the report for you. As a participant, you must not share the content outside your organisation without its consent either. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
What a report is
A report is an assessment of how the team handled a simulated incident in an exercise. It is not an audit, a certification or legal advice, and it does not show that your systems, backups or recovery work technically. Scenarios and assessments are produced with the help of an AI model and may contain errors. Use the report as input to your own decisions, not as a substitute for them.
Acceptable use
- Use the application only for exercises for your own organisation, or for the client that invited you.
- Upload only what the exercise needs. Do not upload passwords, keys or other secrets, or sensitive personal data.
- Do not try to get around sign-in or other security controls, to reach other users' data, or to put undue load on the service, for example with automated requests.
- Comply with applicable law.
Liability
We do our best to keep the application available and working as described, but cannot guarantee that it always is. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost revenue or lost data, or for decisions you make on the basis of a report. This does not apply where mandatory law or your agreement with us says otherwise.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. We will give notice of significant changes before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts.
